I’m McKenna (she/they)! I’m a Seattle-based Full Spectrum Doula. I have gravitated towards caregiving roles for as long as I can remember and my fascination and love for birth and babies began at a young age. While I only have two siblings, similar in age to myself, I have a ton of cousins and a very close family. I grew up around baby cousins and cousin’s babies and with each pregnancy announcement, each birth, each loss - my inner doula grew. I started my family-support career as a nanny and after about ten years, I finally made the transition into doula work after figuring out I could connect multiple passions of mine: supporting families, reproductive justice, and babies.

As a doula, I strive to offer evidence-based, identity-affirming, culturally sensitive, and trauma-informed care to everyone and am always learning and evolving to better support those I serve. I want you to feel supported and empowered to create a birth and postpartum experience that is uniquely yours.

When I’m not working, I’m often found outside - taking a nap in the grass, foraging for some edible goods, admiring plants, climbing rocks, or just exploring the outdoors in general. I’m a sucker for live music, drink way too much coffee, love to bake (trying out all the recipes to make dairy free, soy free, and gluten free treats), and love to spoil my two cats.
